Go to Personal Tab and select “Sync contact info between Skype for business and exchange”. Inside that click on Tools and then options. Open Skype application and select Settings. Just go through the steps and you can enable the feature on your machine. If you are unable to view the status that means feature in Skype is disabled. For example, if person A is having Skype account then you can check the status of A in outlook if user is online or offline. No matter which version of MS office you are using if you have Skype for business or Skype application installed on your computer you can see the status of Skype users on your outlook. However, we have received some issues with the Skype like members who have Skype access are not able to see the user’s status on outlook application. Skype is turned as most important chat tool of Windows and the features added to this application are special compared to other chat programs.
